We have been so pleased with the work that A Driver joinery have done for us. We have had three replacement doors, two new French windows and a range of replacement windows. The quality of the work is exceptional and we have no draughts any more. Andrew is so passionate about his company and seems to be able to turn his hand to any project. He encourages people to visit his workshops which are a real joy. We have already recommended him on numerous occasions.

Andy Driver and his team made the whole process of building my garden room a delight. Andy - from his workshop in Norfolk - took endless trouble to get every detail just right in the construction, even down to the design of the window catches, and the team who came to fit it here did the same. They stayed on site and were so careful with everything. The garden room gives me great pleasure every day and everyone admires it, from inside and out.

I did take a look at the new windows in the cottage in Scole and was very impressed by the quality of the new windows. I passed a copy of a photograph to a colleague who was equally impressed. Seriously this was an excellent job and can you pass on our congratulations to all those involved.

Senior Conservation Office, South Norfolk Council

Our bespoke garden room was designed by a local architect and constructed by Andy Driver (A J Driver Joinery Ltd).

We initially considered using one of the national specialist oak frame building companies, but having visited Andy Driver’s workshop and discussed our requirements, we decided that we wanted Andy Driver to build our room. We were impressed with his knowledge, experience and joinery skills and his interest in traditional oak buildings.

We are absolutely delighted with the finished room and it has exceeded our expectations. Furthermore we know that we would not have got such a beautiful building from other contractors. There were problems to be resolved along the way because we live in a 17th century farmhouse where the walls are not vertical. The oak frame has been beautifully crafted using traditional mortice and tenon joints and oak pegged, which is what we had asked for. One of the features that we are particularly pleased with are the bi-fold doors which Andy’s team installed so expertly.

Andy’s team are superb at problem solving, and the quality of their workmanship is first class. All his staff are a delight and a pleasure to have on site; they are a very talented group of craftsmen.
